Children's Summer Activities

To accompany the school summer holidays, a five week programme of various art activities, both visual and performance, has been put in place to entertain all children within the hospital community.  These activities are mostly presented with our partnering organisations, whom we regularly work with.

EPiC Arts Project

The EPiC Art Project's goal is to bring elderly stroke patients together for interaction, reminiscence, and storytelling.  These types of exercises not only provide, but strengthen neurological stimulation, and can be a rewarding form of therapy for recovering patients.

Womb Song

Designed for pregnant women, this twenty week programme will encourage soon-to-be mums to participate in several singing exercises within a supportive and comfortable environment.  Exercises will be constructed to include postural breathing, and vocal exercises.  Sessions will be lead by Maya Waldman, an experienced music and singing facilitator.
