Development Director
£65 - 70,000 pa plus benefits
Chelsea and Westminster Health Charity supports healthcare delivery, research and education at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital, in the communities of North and West London it serves and at the Hospital’s School of Medicine. The Charity also owns and curates the collection of art exhibited at the Hospital for which it is internationally renowned.
Reporting to the Chief Executive, you will be responsible for all fundraising activities and take a leading role in the inaugural appeal to support the Hospital’s new paediatric services centre. You will develop a new fundraising vision for the Charity and lead its small team to achieve ambitious financial targets.
You are highly commercial, adaptable and a strong communicator who relishes the challenge this unique opportunity presents and who has a demonstrable commitment to public healthcare. Degree-educated with at least five years experience in major fundraising and/or marketing, you can demonstrate tangible results in major campaigns or appeals.
You have direct experience of institutional, community and major-donor fundraising and possess a clear understanding of direct marketing, legacy promotion, database use and the latest e-fundraising techniques.
International experience of healthcare fundraising would be advantageous.
