We are looking for leaders of stature and reputation. Board level experience and relationships, fundraising success, business acumnet and integrity are essential. An understanding and/or prior engagement with arts and health are desirable.
This is a statutory appointment made by the Appointments Commission on behalf of the Secretary of State, usually for a period of 4 years. Trustees are unpaid, although reasonable out of pocket expenses may be reimbursed. The time commitment is about 12 days a year for main board and sub committee meetings.
